Fountainhead Digital MKTG worked for an exploration of an initiative, looking to create a virtual experience for the sale of furniture for a leading online Furniture Retailer. An experience was to be created to overcome the challenge of having the inventory, physically present at a store, given the premium of retail space in order to market collections. Delivered through Mixed Reality on the Microsoft HoloLens, the experience allowed users to select from the entire digital catalogue of the brand and place various pieces of furniture in the space around them to visualise collections. It also allowed modification of individual pieces and different environments (day and night and different lighting levels). The Mixed Reality approach allows for integration of virtual graphics in the physical retail space and completesimmersion, while also providing supplementary audio content, and prompts seamlessly.
