Aadyam is the Cultural Outreach initiative of the Aditya Birla Group – A US $41 billion (Rs. 2,50,000 crore) corporation with over 120,000 employees, belonging to 42 nationalities. The Group is a diversified conglomerate comprising of businesses in cement, aluminum, textiles and fibers, chemicals, financial services, retail, insulators, mining and metallurgy, carbon black, wind power, solar power and telecom.
Aadyam’s venture into Textiles is in line with the parent objective of the initiative – to preserve and bring to the forefront those arts which are far from the mainstream and provide them a business model to exist and thrive. The objective was to create a website which would start as the online brand destination of Aadyam to the world.
Our UX, Copy and Design Experts got into the core of what Aadyam Textiles was all about, and studied it’s product range. Once this was done, we conceptualised and designed a website layout that would allow the product to be the central focus, and be easy for users from all over the world to navigate through. Given the fact that this was to be the launching platform for Aadyam Textiles, we ensured that the product range was clear and straightforward, and any user would within a few moments of browsing get to know what it’s all about.
Aadyam Textiles had a successful international launch, and is well on the way to achieve it’s vision of being the premier platform to encourage indigenous textile design worldwide.
