The Client

The Advertising Club and the Advertising Agencies Association of India, come together every year to celebrate the best work of Indian Advertising and host some of the greatest names in Global Advertising as speakers in Goafest – a 3 day-long knowledge session, Awards celebration and crazy beach party in the beautiful Indian State of Goa.

The Objective

Fountainhead Digital MKTG was engaged to drive participation in Goafest by engaging one of the toughest audience segments that any Agency could have – Advertising Professional themselves. Further a huge focus was to get the ‘young guns’ i.e. professionals under 30 to participate in large numbers.

‚ÄčThe Solution

We started by completely overhauling the Goafest Website Design – making it more contemporary, fun and engaging, and screaming the fun and sun and sand of Goa in every aspect. This website was the hub of all activity around the festival and was supported by the official Goafest Mobile App – launched for the first time, and designed and developed by us. The app took over where the website left off, providing live notifications to users, the event schedule and also integrating our super-popular product Confee, which streamlines audience participation in interactive sessions and gets more people involves as compared to chits and passing mics around.

The Results

Goafest 2016 was a huge success, and the participation driven by the Website and App led to more engagement at the event, more participation, audience delight and also new avenues for sponsor touch points.
